Larry Hyde was born and raised in Woodside, CA. He was educated at U.C. Berkeley and Davis Universities. Larry’s work experience includes Ridge Winery, Cuvaison, Mondavi, Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, and Phelps. In 1979 he has started planting of Hyde Vineyards. Viticulture has become Larry’s greatest passion.  He is highly respected for clonal experiments, high quality fruit and his list of customers contains some of the best wineries of California.
